As an Atlanta native, I have enjoyed seeing Atlanta grow leaps and bounds in the food industry. Our famous restaurants, skilled chefs, and unique store fronts serve as inspiration for beginning my dream of making Indian food easy for everyone. I am so excited to begin my culinary career thanks to the wonderful teachings of my husband and mother in law, both born in India. Not everyone is so lucky to be taught how to cook delicious ethnic food in the comfort of their own kitchen. Now each person who uses these spices will feel as though they have had a quick Indian cooking lesson. Modern Day Masala is an Atlanta company offering fresh ground Indian spice mixtures, making it easy to create authentic dishes at home. Each spice mixture is individually made to suit a particular recipe and makes a serving for 4 to 6 people. All mixtures are natural and contain no MSG or preservatives. |

Masala means ‘mixture’ in Hindi. Garam masala means ‘spice mixture.’ Many of the Modern Day Masala dishes start with our own version of garam masala. We start with whole spices which are roasted and fresh ground. |
