Grilled Peaches with Garam Masala Cream

Using Modern Day Masala’s Garam Masala, create this creamy dessert!

You will need:

  • 6 ripe peaches, halved
  • ½ pint heavy cream
  • 2 T honey (I use clover or wildflower, as they are mild)
  • ½ tsp. vanilla (Use Mexican or Madagascan)
  • 2 pinches of fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 tsp. Modern Day Masala garam masala
  • Fresh mint springs for garnishing (optional)

Recipe

  1. Fire up your grill.  Place the peaches face down, grilling until marks appear across the surface.  Turn once to heat the undersides.
  2. While the peaches are grilling, whip the cream with the vanilla, garam masala, honey, and chopped mint.
  3. Place the grilled peaches on serving plates, topping each half with a spoonful of the whipped cream.  Garnish with mint and a light sprinkle of garam masala.
  4. Serve immediately, as the cream will begin to melt into a sea of delicate goodness.
